The iOS system is designed to provide quick access to installed applications. Therefore, they are located on the main screen. Sometimes you need to hide some kind of application, it’s either standard, but which you don’t use, or because of privacy.
I will show an example of an iPad with iOS 13.3.1, but on an iPhone it will be similar.
- To do this, we need to go to " Settings " and open the section " Screen time "
- Next, go to the " Content and Privacy " menu , move the slider to the right. Among the items in the menu that appears, select " Allowed Applications ". Well, then turn off the standard applications that we need to hide from the desktop.
Using this method, you can hide only the standard application, and if you need to hide a third-party program, then we need to do the following.
The simplest thing is to create a folder, and transfer the application icon to it, on the second page of this folder.
But in order to exclude various notifications from the “private” application, we will need to disable them.
- To do this, go to “ Settings ” - “ Notifications ” and turn off “ Notification Allow ”.
- For even more "secrecy", you can exclude it from the search for Siri's voice assistant. We go to the item " Siri and search ", look for our application, and turn off all items.
You can also delete the application from the purchase history, for this you need to go to the " AppStore ", click on your profile, and go to the " Shopping " section . And remove the application from there. Thank you for the attention. Hope the article was helpful.
