Interviewed by Chinese media reporters, experts urge not to trust Xiaomi’s bravura reliance too much. The reason for the pessimism is the unwillingness of a number of devices mentioned in the corporation report to upgrade to MIUI 12.
“Many gadgets have not yet passed the beta testing stage,” experts argued.
The total number of approved Xiaomi models of smartphones for the new firmware is 42. The corresponding list includes the most popular devices produced by the "parent" company and its many "daughters".
After solving the problem with the devices of the "second wave", the third will begin. It is at this stage, most likely, that the Ukrainian owners of Xiaomi devices and its affiliates will gain access to the capabilities of MIUI 12. Presumably, the new "OS" for devices outside the PRC will be available exclusively in English.
