How to Replace the headphone Cable?
Sometimes in good (and expensive) headphones, the cable becomes unusable. This occurs for various reasons, mainly due to careless handling.
Repair can be carried out in two ways:
- Replacing a cable with a new one
- Installing a jack for using a detachable jack-jack cable
The second option looks preferable due to the easier replacement of the newly damaged cable afterwards.
We will need a nest. It can be bought or cut out from an unnecessary faulty motherboard from a laptop. You will also need a multi meter, a soldering iron, solder, electrical tape, superglue and hot glue.
After installing the connector, the headphones are ready for use with the new cable.
So, with the help of improvised means you can revive damaged headphones
