Which operating system do you think is the most unsafe? Windows, iOS, Linux or Android? So it’s difficult to answer right away. According to a study by "TheBestVPN" last year, Android became such an operating system, but it's not so simple.
Firstly, the number of detected vulnerabilities is not transcendental. I recall that in the year 2019, only 414 of them were discovered, which is not enough, but in my opinion it is far from critical. For example, 360 vulnerabilities were found in his nearest neighbor on this Debian Linux list, which is only 54 vulnerabilities less.
However, the most interesting goes further. If you do not stop at the first two positions, but look at the entire list, you can notice eight Microsoft products at once. In aggregate, various versions of the Windows operating system today have 2286 vulnerabilities. So, if you were going to throw away your Android phone, first throw out your laptop on Windows.

You can say that judging by one year is not true and you will be right. What will we see if we look at the indicators of the last 20 years? Actually nothing new. With 60 vulnerabilities, Google shares third and fourth place with Apple. She loses the last one in terms of the number of vulnerabilities per product, but not just critical.
The company with the largest number of vulnerabilities is still Microsoft, and Linux with the largest number of vulnerabilities per product. The latter is not at all surprising, considering that last year it was their product that led the rating with a record 1,197 vulnerabilities.
PS: If you are interested in what is the main problem of the Android system, then you can confidently say that these are pre-installed applications. More often than not, it’s just useless trash that cannot be removed, but which can harm you and your data.
