The Samsung Galaxy lock screen displays information about the lack of a SIM card, so an additional icon in the status bar is not needed. If you want to permanently hide the icon, which only takes place in vain, this can be done using the Hide Persistent Notifications application. Please note that this is a paid program, but it is inexpensive, well optimized for Android and makes it easy to remove unnecessary system messages.
To hide the “No SIM card” notification in Samsung Galaxy, do the following:
- Download Hide Persistent Notifications from the Google Play directory.
- When you first launch the application, provide access to notifications.
- From the Notification access menu, click Hide Persistent Notifications> Allow.
- Tap on “+” in the lower right corner of the screen and select the notification you want to hide, and then click on Hide in the pop-up window.
Now the icon with a crossed-out SIM card is not displayed in the status bar.
