How to remove all ads on Xiaomi with MIUI?

Xiaomi products quickly became popular, as they attracted people at a minimum cost with good quality. However, for two years now the company has been making money in a different way: Xiaomi smartphones place ads directly in the user interface.

Smartphones of the company already occupy more than 10% of the global market, so this situation has affected many. The company really offers its products at low prices, but unlike, for example, Amazon, it does not offer devices at slightly higher prices, but without advertising. Fortunately, there is an opportunity to remove ads: just turn off recommendations in regular applications of the system.

First you need to disable the recommendations of the MSA application - MIUI System Ads. We go to the settings, then in the additional section, select the "Authorization and reviews" item, find the MSA in it and turn it off. 

Also, turning off personal advertising recommendations is an important action, because for them the company collects personal information. Also, in the advanced settings, select the "Privacy" section and turn off personal recommendations.

With the disabling of advertising banners in folders, things are not the best way: you can disable advertising for each folder separately. This is done by the following actions: click on the name of the folder, as it is done when you need to rename it and turn off the “Promoted apps” item.

Next, we will disable ads in the built-in applications:

1. Mi Security. On the cleaning screen, click on the deep cleaning icon, and then in the same place the settings icon will appear, click on it. In the paragraph "Recommendations" disable the corresponding parameter. We do the same in the settings that open on the main screen.
2. Mi Browser. Go to the settings and select the "Advanced" section. After we select the item “Top sites order” and turn off the recommendations.
3. Open the settings window and set the “Show recommended content” parameter to the disabled state.
4. Mi M Click on the button with three stripes in the left corner, open the settings and select the “Advanced” section. We find the “Recommendations” parameter and turn it off.
5. Mi Video. Go to the “Account” item and open the settings. Turn off recommendations and push notifications.
6. Mi File Manager. Click on the button with three stripes and select the settings. Next, go to “About” and turn off the recommendations there.
7. MiUi Themes. Open the “Account” item and select the settings. We turn off the recommendations in them.
