The company announced the cessation of production and sale of the Pixel 3a and Pixel 3a XL. Smartphones have already disappeared from the assortment of the Google Store in the United States. But for now, these smartphones are still available for purchase from many third-party retailers who have stockpiles left.

They say that the announcement of the novelty has been postponed more than once due to the epidemic of coronavirus.

Initially, the company planned to introduce Pixel 4a at its Google I / O 2020 conference in May, then postponed the announcement to June, and now sources claim that its presentation is scheduled for July 13. Whether the XL version will be presented with the Pixel 4a is still unknown.

According to rumors, the Pixel 4a will receive a 5.81-inch OLED display with a notch for an 8-megapixel front camera and will be based on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 730 chipset paired with 6 GB of RAM. The smartphone will come in configurations with 64 and 128 GB of internal memory.

It is also credited with a 12.2-megapixel main camera with LED flash, a rear fingerprint scanner and a 3080 mAh battery with support for fast charging. The cost of the Pixel 4a will be $ 299 or $ 349, depending on the amount of internal memory.
