The South Korean manufacturer is already working on next-generation fully wireless in-ear headphones. In terms of design, the new headphones will fundamentally differ from Galaxy Buds and Galaxy Buds +, which have certain design flaws.
The previous model is known by the code name Popcorn (probably due to the resemblance), the next-generation headphones were called Beans (beans), and this is also no coincidence.
At the disposal of the WinFuture resource were sketches and renderings of new headphones that confirm their name. Judging by the images, their shape exactly resembles these fruits. The new design makes the headphones more compact. Unlike existing Galaxy Buds models, they hide in the auricle and practically do not protrude from the ear.
The length of each earphone is estimated to be 2.8 cm. But these are not in-ear headphones, so it is not yet known how well they will hold in your ears and suppress ambient noise.
WinFuture sources claim that the new Samsung headphones have model number SM-R180. They will be equipped with two drivers, one of which is responsible for high and medium frequencies, and the second for low.
For better sound, the speakers have something like a bass reflex, like a subwoofer. There are also several built-in microphones that are used for voice calls. In addition, a depression is noticeable in the images, in which a sensor is probably located that determines the location of the earphone in the ear.
While there is no information about the battery capacity and other characteristics of the upcoming device, since the headphones are now at the preliminary testing stage. Thus, much can change before they go into mass production. Headphones can be presented along with the Galaxy Note 20 series of smartphones.
