Even if you have a shockproof smartphone with a protected screen, which is positioned as indestructible, it can still be scratched. Just one model for this is enough to be in your pocket with keys or a trifle, and others to drop the screen down.
If the scratch is serious and interferes with the sensor, there are no options: just change the glass. If it is insignificant, some simply clog: it’s unpleasant, but you can use the phone.
But some begin to experiment and try to fix scratches on their own. There are a lot of harmful life hacks for such repairs.
For example:
- rub the glass with toothpaste;
- use car paste to remove scratches;
- use shallow sandpaper (the most absurd advice, I wonder if someone thought of checking it out in business?);
- make a paste of baking soda with water;
- drip vegetable oil;
- drip superglue.
It is further recommended that you take a rag and rub the miracle product well, polishing the screen, supposedly all the scratches should disappear after that. But if you include logic and common sense, are you not funny reading such tips?
None of these artisanal methods can cope even with the smallest and thinnest scratch - they will still be visible. Not to mention the fact that you simply erase the oleophobic coating , or cause even more new scratches.
Here is a good example in the video, where the author checks the 5 most popular ways to "restore" the screen - all of them as expected do not work and harm the display.
It should be understood that scratches from the smartphone screen are not removed, and not masked, even the smallest. The only working way to get rid of them is to go to the service and replace the glass. And in order not to have to pay for it in the future, glue the protective glass or high-quality film immediately after buying a smartphone. Change it, if you suddenly damage it, it will definitely be cheaper and easier.
