Xiaomi has announced the entry-level smartphones Redmi 9C and Redmi 9A, which are running the Android 10 operating system with the proprietary add-on MIUI 11 (followed by an upgrade to MIUI 12).

The Redmi 9C model carries the MediaTek Helio G35 processor on board: it combines eight Cortex-A53 cores with a clock frequency of up to 2.3 GHz and an IMG PowerVR GE8320 GPU graphics accelerator. The device is equipped with a triple main camera, the configuration of which includes sensors with 13, 5 and 2 million pixels.

The Redmi 9A, in turn, has a MediaTek Helio G25 chip: this solution contains eight Cortex-A53 cores with a frequency of up to 2.0 GHz and an IMG PowerVR GE8320 GPU accelerator. At the back is a single 13-megapixel camera.

Smartphones are equipped with 2 GB of RAM LPDDR4x RAM, an eMMC 5.1 flash drive with a capacity of 32 GB, a microSD card slot, an FM tuner, Wi-Fi 802.11b / g / n and Bluetooth 5 wireless adapters, a GPS / GLONASS receiver, a USB port Type-C and 3.5mm headphone jack. The Redmi 9C version is also equipped with a fingerprint scanner and infrared port.
