Xiaomi Will Release the first smartphone with 100 W charging until the end of the year

Recently, manufacturers are actively developing smartphone charging technologies. To date, the fastest solution for fast wired charging is the proprietary technology of OPPO SuperVOOC 2.0 with a power of 65 watts. But soon OPPO in this field can move another Chinese company. Yes, yes, we are talking about Xiaomi, which created fast charging for mobile devices with a power of 100 watts.

Xiaomi Will Release the first smartphone with 100 W charging until the end of the year

Back in March 2019, Xiaomi for the first time demonstrated the 100 W Super Charge Turbo fast charging technology. It allows you to charge a 4000 mAh battery in just 17 minutes. Last fall, Xiaomi promised that super-fast charging features will appear on its smartphones in 2020. However, so far we have not seen a single Xiaomi device with support for Super Charge Turbo. But, according to a Chinese insider, Digital Chat Station, the wait is not long.

The source said that the first Xiaomi smartphone with fast charging at 100 watts will appear on the market by the end of 2020. True, what kind of model it will be and when exactly it will be presented, he did not specify. But, most likely, it will be either Xiaomi Mi 1 Pro Plus, the announcement of which is expected in August, or Mi Mix 4, which will be released in the fourth quarter.

It is worth noting that Xiaomi is not the only manufacturer that is preparing a smartphone with faster charging than OPPO. This summer, Lenovo is due to release its new Legion gaming smartphone, one of the main features of which will be the 90-watt fast charging feature.

Meanwhile, Vivo has already announced the development of Super FlashCharge technology, which can charge a smartphone with a 4000 mAh battery from 0 to 100% in just 13 minutes, that is, 4 minutes faster than Xiaomi's Super Charge Turbo. True, the commercial implementation of this solution is planned only for next year.
